You gotta be kidding.

The food is mediocre at best and let's not even talk about the derelicts that work at most of them.

The days are numbered for Applebees sister.

Most franchise restaurants suck. Applebee's is the McDonald's of sit down restaurants.

They are also usually the ones fighting tooth and nail in the restaurant lobbies to stop minimum wage increases. Fuck em. I spend my money and real mom and pop places even if it means I have to spend a couple extra bucks.

Applebees is where alcoholics go to eat. I go to the one in my neighborhood maybe 2-3 times a year and it's always the same drunks at the bar so I'm assuming they are there everyday.

I ate there for the first time this week and thought it was delicious and good value. I had eaten at one probably 15 years ago and it was good too. My friends meal was a little too much mayo and bread was a bit greasy and the manager wanted to get her another meal, dessert, soup whatever he could to make it right.

Heres an eye opener for you, stoners and work release inmates are making your food at most area restaurants. I can go to Applebees and get a grilled chicken sandwich for 8 bucks or I can go to the "upscale" .wait 45 minutes for a table, get the same sandwich for twice as much and never see a waiter after my food comes.
