no school/delay tomorrow

today was a terrible day for everyone, especially in the morning! Now I'm hearing from co-workers and students that school might be closed tomorrow because of the big time screw up they did today. Is this true? Tonight the roads will get icy because its gonna freeze........

The same people will make the decisions based on the best information that the same sources can provide at the time. Why don't you goobers go worry about something more at your level -- like whether you have a fresh pair of socks for the morning.

but its not fair since, this isn't about getting time off, its about being safe and getting safe to school. Especially for the kids. Parents have to continue calling. FCPS should not open tomorrow. Its such a shame!

I want fcps closed, however im really doubtful they would close it tomorrow, c'mon if they didn't close it today- theres no chance they would close it tomorrow. Even though its gonna be DANGEROUS tomorrow in the morning CUZ of the FREEZE!

I think possibly a delay due to a freeze over in the am, with temperatures in the low teens. Also, sidewalks & side streets remain untouched in many places.

If they close schools tomorrow, they will close them for the rest of the week. They have a policy of not opening schools for only 2 days-it costs too much to heat the buildings for only 2 days.
