My sisters cousins uncle works at the GateHouse and just got word from their weatherman that the storm coming is way more intense than originally predicted.
Emergency snow plans are going into effect soon. We just got word to have all the snow equipment ready to go at 4pm.
This snow storm is the big one!

Today -- Sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Tonight -- A chance of snow after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 23. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday -- Snow, mainly before 10am. High near 36. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Are those the two hotels on 29 that are within a few dozen feet of each other? Both have ample parking for their frequent business travelers. A new restaurant just opened up on the Budget Inn property. It's located a quick walk from the front door of either hotel.

I dont get it, we have had late openings and closings when the roads were just wet. Today we have 2 inches on the roads with more on the way and nothing. If we lived in an area where people knew how to drive I would agree with school when amounts on the road surface were below 6 inches but around here people do not know how to drive in snow. Waiting for the bus this morning we watched a pickup truck spin its wheels for a minute trying to get up a short,little hill.
