Route 7 in Tysons Corner now looks like a third world country under construction
don't believe me? just take a drive up there and you'll see what I mean.
it's such a disgrace.
no, I'm not against the new construction of the metro rail extenstion. however,
who hired these idiot contractors who are digging up the roads and making a mess?
I've seen other cities where they have similar constructions, but the nearby
roads are at least free of mud and cldearly marked

You've clearly never been to a third world country. Hint: they don't complain when a multibillion dollar project makes their dirt road dirty on their way to Panera.
How are the "idiot contractors" supposed to build a Metrorail without digging up some road and kicking up some mud?
The beltway and related access ramps are fairly unavigable as well from the wilson bridge to Langley. Lanes just end into concrete barriers, the road surface is so bumpy you'd think a bomb got dropped on it, lanes are 3 feet narrower, heavy congestion.

Personally, I was strongly opposed to the Metro extension. IMHO it was
based on developers greed and political cronyism. If you voted for Connolly,
Bulova, or Kaine, you are getting what you deserve. I noticed Timmy
was drooling when he signed the papers in front of the camers. Sad.
I could see the $$$$ signs in his eyes.

Third World country? For some reason, I sense racial overtones. Maybe it's me, but I think you have a problem with the workers...most of which are hispanic. Get over yourself, douche bag.
