Since we're in D.C., I am going to advance a conspiracy theory,,,
What if the move to trade up with all the picks and hype was actually a ruse to trick the Colts into taking Griffin?
The trade was made far in advance of the draft, and the QB that was targeted was RGIII.
And if you remember the Colts brought in Griffin before the draft and were not saying who they were going to pick right up till they did.
Could that have been the REAL SHANAPLAN!!!???
We'll never know.
Worked out great the first season though,,,

Yes, but it is good to remember how many skins fans were gloating during 2012 abpout getting Griffin instead of Luck. What were you people thinking? This my hope for RG3. I hope he is traded to the St Louis Rams, who in case you have forgotten, is the team that received the 4 draft picks (3 number ones) in exchange for our chance to draft RG3. They used those draft picks to build a solid offensive line who can protect a QB. I hope RG3 becomes a star QB with the Rams while the Redskins continue to suck for the next decade.

The Redskins would have still sucked because Snyder doesn't know how to build a team. He whiffs on most of the draft picks, brings in over-priced and over-the-hill free or problem-child agents and then fills in the gaps with guys who should be playing in the Arena League. Compare to the Patriots, who know how to use the draft and bring in established veterans as role players on reasonable short-term contracts.
