There is nothing wrong with staff ,admin or the school -the problem is that out of 2400 kids you have a couple hundred who were not raised correctly and have been allowed to act foolish for many years -they get to high school and they are out of control .Many are labeled ED and the school system has set up impossible rules and regulations on what you can or cannot do to discipline them . If you are concerned blame the big wigs at Gatehouse who have set up the dynamic of tolerating kids who don't want to be there , who raise havoc and know they are allowed to push the envelope and not much will happen to them. The 150 kids in question should be at an alternative school setting but it doesn't happen overnight and for many it will never happen. You need to understand the big picture before blaming the school administration -put in an entire new group of admin and they too will have to deal with the politics of 2015 school regs . What you really need to do is blame mom and dad [if dad is even in the picture ] for allowing the kid to act like a fool for 14 years and not blame the High school for not being able to fix the deep issues that these kids enter the school with

Thank god we have you to tell us how to raise kids. How many do you have in the school right now.? You do not even know the issues no one is blaming anyone but it does appear the inmates are in charge
its not the kids in the BMWs -its the kids in the section 8 housing whose parents had them when they were 18 and have not taught there kids right from wrong and who have no respect for authority - I do have one in the school and one who graduated 2 years ago- my point is people are blaming the administration and it is not fair . Students who act out and have an IEP because they have been labeled ED are given numerous provisions and you just cant kick them out of the school -thus my original point is that you cant mix 2 very different populations ( IB and gifted students with a large ED POPULATION } and also a very rich group and a very very poor group and not have issues ps - I never once told anyone how to raise there kids as personally I don't give a fuck what you do with your kid -I am just telling you that it is not the administrations fault for what they are dealing with

There may not be any change with the Admin but there has been change within it. Mike is out as Assistant DSA (took a better job at Chantilly) and I've heard from a couple of parents that Linda will be out as DSA at the end of the year.

and YOU, Mr. Got-it-all-together, how many kids did you father and abandon before you settled down? None that you know of? Well, how about this: how many times did you have unprotected sex...? self-righteous jerk!
So singlehandly you blamed all poor and kids with an IEP as having a problem. that you no nothing about . I am glad you know so much that and know that all low income kids are not taught right from wrong. some of the best kids in that school are low income I had one graduate as well two years ago and one going now .It is much worse now then two years ago and many of the kids I have heard about come from middle class neighborhoods
You really do sound like a pompous jerk .
Seems like the school started going down hill when the last principal retired. My kids go to Herndon so I don't have any inside info but I've heard from folks that SL has slipped.

Excuse me "what about?", that cheerleader you call a faggot, his name is peter. He is the nicest person I have ever met, has a bigger heart than anyone on this website and is more of a man than any of you will ever be. It's 2014 learn to fucking accept what everyone else already has.
Also he is actually in section 8 housing. There are literally like 5 kids who could ever drive a BMW at that school. Most kids take the bus or find a friend to drive them home because their parents can't afford cars for them. Not saying that this is such a burden to not have a car but not everyone is rolling up to school in a fucking Bentley. You must be mistaken with Langley.

Only an idiot would think this. Slice two APPLES, cinnamon, sugar, plus eggs and spices, on a crust
