...at least be a good sport and tell us.

I know you may get some smart alecky comments and all, but it would be really to nice to tell the forum that you found your mutt (or kitty). We'd like to hear that a story ends happily every once in a while.

Next time I see a desperate "lost pet" post, I'll just assume it has been found and not bother looking for it. Or if I see something that looks like it, I will assume it is someone else's pet.

It is damn rude to not let people know when the pet has been found no matter what the postings in the thread were.
