The problem with the post and with your entire line of thinking is that it's kindergarten ignorant. The distributions of xAR measures are all highly concentrated around the mean. There is no statistically significant difference between the values for the large majority of players. Trying to use them as a ranking mechanism for part-time players is simply dumb. The best way to preserve your FPCT and cut down on errors is of course to make the routine plays only. As an idiot would know, that's not good defense. If you'd like to talk about things such as soft-hands, quickness, range-to-the-left, range-to-the-right, range-going-back, range-into-foul-territory, arm strength and accuracy, release-time, time-of-turn on the double-play, ability to finish a DP over a take-out slide, and so on, be my guest. But you won't go there. You lose as soon as you do, as Espinosa is ranked with the best in the game in such areas. At least so far, Espinosa can't hit. But if he could, he'd be HOF material.
At this point, I'd say many of the same things about Darwin Barney, by the way. Are you "through" with Darwin Barney as well by any chance? Do you even know who he is?
> Yeah, thanks for playing.
I wasn't playing. I was being serious. You babble on, but are completely clueless on the matter.
