Helicopter Flying around the gmu area in the midlle of the night

Last night sept 29 i was woken up by the sound of a chopper circling over head a bunch of times. Anyone know why?

A local contractor has been hiring illegals and then murdering them at the end of the job to avoid paying them. FCPD got a tip that the bodies were dumped at this location.

Can you give me an exact location of these helicopter sightings near GMU, we in the fairfax Villa neighborhood have noticed an increase of police choppers in this area constantly flying overhead ( conducting investigation) , they generally proceed an arrest for drugs in this area. @chbh OP

I live in the GMU area, last night was horrible. This is happening more often and I've learned to not get alarmed but, last night something was different. A noise was strange, VERY close to my building, circling it in extreme slow motion.

Went outside my patio and I believe I saw a drone. Searched today and found out that they are test driving drones in 5 states including Virginia. Positive a drone is what I saw. My dog was scared to. The helicopters don't bother him. They last time he got scared was the NORAD planes a few months ago.

There are a few minutes where you just pray it passes and doesn't crash into the building. Some have, done just that.

FFX County Police park their copter at the dump next to the Home Depot, and feel the need to fly it around in the middle of the night, just for fun.

No, they have budget constraints. They only fly around for legitimate reasons.

many times those are military helicopters going to and from the pentagon. I live near GMU and my house appears to be in the flight pattern.
