URGENT! Search and Rescue Call to Action for Missing Toddlers in Montgomery County
Requested Actions:
Search and Rescue: Foot Searches needed for missing toddlers in Montgomery County. Please notify leaders of any personal knowledge you might have of various areas.
Flyer Distribution : We are zoning out areas that have not had door to door flyer distributions yet. Please notify leaders of your available time-frame for volunteering and any personal knowledge of various areas.

8:30-9:00 AM
Please notify leaders of your available time-frame for volunteering and any personal knowledge of the various areas discussed in the briefing. Meet between 8:30-9:00 am to be briefed on the various locations to either hand out fliers or hike trails. While the event goes on all day, there's no set time to come or volunteer. We appreciate any and all volunteerism.

Two missing toddlers in Montgomery County. A large scale search is planned for this weekend and Mid-Atlantic Hiking Groups assistance has been requested to assist so let's answer this call to action and join the many people helping with this event any way that we can. Detailed Description:
Family is putting an all hands on deck effort toward finding these children. We will need lots of volunteers this Saturday. We are staging at the above location to form groups that can go out for the following activities.
* Flyer distribution - we are zoning out areas that have not had door to door flyer distributions yet. Wear comfortable shoes and bring snacks and water.
* Foot Searches - We have many various areas we plan to search Saturday in the Clarksburg, Darnestown, Germantown, Damascus, and Poolesville areas. Please notify leaders of your available time-frame for volunteering and any personal knowledge of the various areas discussed in the briefing. Please notify leaders any personal knowledge of various areas discussed during the briefing.
Search Area:
Our main focuses will be Clarksburg, Germantown, Gaithersburg, Darnestown, Rockville, Montgomery Village, and Damascus. Some areas are considered "back country" type trails. Please notify leaders any personal knowledge of various areas discussed during the briefing.
What to Wear/Bring:
Come prepared as you would for a hike. Example: Wear what you normally do for hiking. Be sure to bring plenty of hydration and whatever trail snacks/food you usually consume on the trail, and wear trail shoes and/or hiking boots. Special Request: We have been asked to wear bright colors (bow season).
Please note that there is something for everyone to do if they would like to assist with this community "Call to Action"". If you are not comfortable or able to assist with searching and/or hiking, we also need people to hand out flyers. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated and there is no such thing as too small of task when it comes to community efforts like this.

There's a conflict with distribution of yard signs for Gerry Connolly. There have been so many requests -- that's going to take a lot longer than people thought.
