Accident at Lee Highway and Waples Mill 8/29/14

I heard on the radio yesterday there was an accident with a flipped vehicle at Lee Hway (29) and Waples Mill Rd. Traffic was backed up past the eastern edge of Fairfax City. Took 20 minutes to go half a mile.

Does anyone know if everyone is okay? I saw a small flowered wreath at that intersection this morning that I don't think was there before, but maybe a coincidence?

My wife was about 4 cars in front of this. She was stopped at the intersection and in her rear view mirror saw a car in the air that landed on it's top. Seems like someone going about 50 rear-ended a car stopped at the light and did a flip.

She's a strong person and said seeing something that real/serious made her cry. Anyway, we're curious about this too if anyone knows anything. Her initial instinct was that there was no way this wasn't without serious injuries in the least.

Unfortunately, given the mess at intersections this weekend, I have no way of knowing if you are being serious or have inside knowledge!
