Police: Pool worker sexually assaulted in Falls Church

Fairfax police are investigating the sexual assault of a 20-year-old woman at a Falls Church pool.

The victim was working at a community pool near Yarling Court Friday when a man approached around 7 p.m. and struck up a conversation.

“He then displayed a weapon and sexually assaulted the victim,” police said in a news release.

After the assault, the man fled and the victim called police. She was “medically evaluated at a local hospital and released,” police said.

Her attacker was white, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build and was clean-shaven.
