Does it make you mad that people don't support the same party as you?

We live in the USA where people are entitled to believe in what they want to. Why is it that some of you have a problem with a person being a Democrat or a Republican? Why do you resort to name calling and belittling the person?

BTW, I've noticed that some of you can dish it, but can't take it.

You can believe in the Tooth Fairy if you'd like, but it's a damned foolish thing to be basing any kind of policy on. Don't expect any sort of warm reception when proposing or supporting that sort of thing. What's actually problematic here is not the party factor, but the fucking ASSHOLE factor -- illiterate fucking goobers driven by their emotions who have no fucking clue or basis at all for anything that they claim or say.

Too many forget they are Americans first. Too many don't even value being American about being [D} or [R]. Not that there is all that much difference between the two parties, anyway. We have become a one-party stater and history does not favor on-party states.

But, they cheer on their 'team' at the cost of the country because that's what their 'team' says they must do.

Folks love to surrender their own thinking to party hacks. I have no idea why, either.

Sorry, jackass. If you can't tell the difference between feather-their-own-nest corporatists and feather-everybody's-nest progressives, you have truly lost your way. Stop thinking that you have ANY understanding of what's going on here at all.

no corp support for progdems. all their money comes in $2 and $3 at a time from the poor oppressed people digging change out of their couch, you know, like all those dems in the inter city ghettos that are nothing more than the result of progs policy to keep em where they are as long as they are voting D.

are you so progressive that you are enjoying a cocktail party in your gated community while piously telling each other how much you care??

It's funny because I hear Repubs talk about those people all the time and they have yet to do a damn thing to help them or even convince them to vote for them. Either they're scared to talk to those people or you've simply given up.

Honestly, neither party has done anything to really deserve the vote of black people if we're going to be fair about things.

Idiots are found all over. The problems is that the smart people are found so predominantly on the left, and the ones who do stick it out on the right readily admit in private that they don't believe any of the right-wing crapola either.

You're blind. Your political leanings are driven by emotions alone. I pity you and my country.

Let's face it: Republicans are actively ANTAGONISTIC toward blacks, hispanics, women, gays, atheists, and just about everybody else who doesn't own a $1200 suit.

Well, what sorts of things would count toward deserving black votes? Do you think libeling ACORN into the shadows and pushing for Voter-ID laws are going to be on the list? Disparaging Romney's 47%? Those might well be on the list of things that drive black voters away, a list that might be more important than the other one.

Why does either party have to anything to deserve the vote of black people? Political parties should be above that nonsense and focus on whats best for America.

Really! A $1200 suit? Did you green that from stolen GOP documents or did you just pull that out of your ass? I'm pretty sure I know where you got that "fact" from.

Ignoring the fact that racial politics exists is dumb. Of course racializing politics is wrong, but it exists and both parties do it. In fact all political parties, third parties included, play the game.

Besides, it just doesn't have to be black people, it could be Asians, Hispanics, the young, Older voters...you name it.

Democrats represent 99 percent of America, Republicans represent 1 percent. How dare you say Democrats forget they are Americans first. They are partisan Democrats because they are Americans first.

^^^ Exhibit A for the OP.

To answer your question, it's like being a sports fanatic. Win or lose, good or bad, they are your team and you support them to the end of your days.

The idiots among us are best ignored.

I'm a Republican and sure Republicans do some crazy stupid stuff sometimes

At the end of the day the Democrats will never be happy until they take everything from the 50.01% and give it to the 49.99% at that point the % will be reversed never ending cycle lolz

Fairfax County is a perfect example. Lets increase class sizes for the 50.01% to have smaller classes and more support for the 49.99%. Let's increase real estate taxes for the 50.01% to subsidize housing for the 49.99% etc etc etc

I actually think some of the Democratic party ideas are pretty good. The problem is the government does a terrible job of executing the programs and the metrics to see what actually works and what doesn't work are terrible. Also point number 2 above the cost of the program is almost never considered just as long as it is helping someone.
