FCPS School buses

Does anyone know why they are so many school buses around? School been out since June25th but every morning I see school buses. I thought they no longer have summer school so what are they doing? Does anyone know where I can listen to the school bus radio?

I get behind one or two every day on Rt.123 on my way home from work. I too was wondering what the hell they are doing out on the roads at the same time they normally are running during the school year.

Summer camps are being held at some HS and transportation is provided but the parent pays a fee.

I have heard that the FCPS radio broadcast can be picked up on those police / fire scanners

There is summer school in addition to ESY. It runs from July 14 to August 1.

They may also be conducting driver training for drivers hired for the next school year. You don't want to get stuck behind THEM on residential streets.

They've been driving down to Texas and AZ borders to help bring diversity to the area.
