Police investigate report of shots fired in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police in Alexandria are investigating the report of shots fired.

The call originated from the 1400 block of Princess Street in the Jefferson Village neighborhood around 6 a.m.

Officials are searching the area for evidence and no victims have been located. A police official says there are no major street closures in the area.
