A resident living in the 700 block of Cottage Street, S.W., told Vienna police that on July 10 between 3:00 a.m. and noon, the rear window of his parked vehicle had been shattered by what appeared to be flying debris from a machine used by a landscaping company to cut a neighbor’s lawn.

A Vienna police officer contacted an employee of the landscaping company and reached an agreement to resolve the broken-window issue.
