My sister (white) just started dating a coon. I told her the saying "once you go black..." is actually inaccurate. The real saying should be "once you go black, nobody wants you back." She used to be married to a great guy who was successful, treated her well, put up with her shit, She got caught cheating and he divorced her immediately. She has low self esteem now that she's in her late 30s and always seems to look for guys who don't have much of a life or who are less successful than she is (not that she makes a lot of money, about $45k). I think it makes her feel better about herself.

I'm disappointed in my sister. Oh well.
