At the risk of being incorrectly labeled a "libtard", I'll bite and say that you are partially right; yes, there are some who are fiscally conservative that are simply hypocrites and liars. Truth of the matter is that most politicians can be two-faced liars when it serves their interests. Be that as it may, this BS goes all ways, regardless of ideology and party.

Focusing on simply the Fiscal Conservatives, reeks of bias and an agenda. Why not bring up the selective outrage and fiscal irresponsibility of Liberal Democrats and Progressives? In fact, I'd venture to say the Left is more fiscally irresponsible than the Right; I'd bet my entire life on it too.

Yet the fake fiscal conservatives are far outpacing the progressives. Even before Obamacare went into effect there were fiscal phonies claiming that the Federal government should not be expanding spending during the recession because of the size of the deficit and then turning around and we couldn't institute revenue raising measures to deal with the deficit because there was a recession. You don't get to have it both ways. If we are ever to have a fiscally sound government, the starting point has to be having a sound tax code. The easiest way to achieve this would have been to simply let all the Bush tax cuts lapse. Democrats didn't have the guts to do this and for conservatives it would have been a violation of a religious conviction.

Oh dear, your life is forfeit. Take a look at the recent comparative performances of California and Kansas. California, with the liberal icon Jerry Brown back in the governor's office and in full control of a "liberal" agenda again, is generating surpluses, jobs, and paying down it's debt. Kansas, with the rightest of right wingers Gov. Sam Brownback and a conservative legislature running the show, is bleeding jobs and revenue, and is on the verge of bankrupcy. Truths, however inconvenient. Simply put, trickle down won't and supply side doesn't.
