Concealed carry course recommendation

I am looking to get my concealed carry permit. Looking for an online class to qualify. Any recommendations? I'd prefer to not deal with NRA so other options are preferred.

I took mine through the NRA. Got my range card the same day and had a fun day shooting. They never hassled me about joining.
The only value to an online course is it gives you a piece of paper to get your permit. If you are going the online route then pick whichever one is cheapest that offers multiple test opportunities and meets Virginia's qualifications.

To get the VA CHL you need a firearms safety course. A CC course will usually include the safety course. Check Silver Eagle Group or Blue Ridge Arsenal (IIRC they recently did a name change). They are not online, but are local and usually the course is 1 day. Google online gun safety for online courses. They must be NRA approved instructor to qualify. As of 7/1 online is no longer valid.
I do recommend that you follow up with a lot of study on the law and how to effectively use your gun. What you get in the CC course is very basic. Knowing when you can shoot is more important than knowing how to shoot.
Interestingly, no one has found any difference in safety between states that require safety courses and those that don't.
