(WJLA) - Federal prosecutors say Bob McDonnell intentionally did not disclose an expensive vacation he took that was paid for by a University of Virginia board of visitors member, according to a report in The Washington Post.

The trip McDonnell and his family took to Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina cost $23,000, all paid for by Board of Visitors Vice Rector William H. Goodwin Jr., a hotel owner in Henrico County. Prosecutors allege that McDonnell purposely failed to disclose that gift on his state disclosure form.
Prosecutors said the vacation does not appear to be connected to gifts McDonnell and his wife received from businessman Jonnie Williams. It is the gifts received from Williams that form the basis of a federal corruption case against McDonnell.
