A Yellow Alert is in effect for Wednesday for T-storms. Critical time 2 PM - 8 PM. Thursday looks partly cloudy and very warm & breezy but not humid.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Yellow Alert Wednesday for showers and T-storms. The best chance for storms will be between 2 PM - 8 PM as a cold front approaches. On Thursday, looking ahead to round one of the Quicken Loans National at Congressional, highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90°. However, it won't be humid, with only an isolated shower possible north of Town and in the Mountains.

Tips for the Quicken Loans National:
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Stay hydrated, drink lots of water
- Remember the sunscreen
