SOUTH RIDING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Emergency crews rescued a man who had fallen into the basement of a house under construction Friday morning, Loudoun County Emergency officials said.

Crews arrived in the area of Revival Drive and Fleetwood Road to find the 25-year-old who had fallen about 10 to 12 feet, officials said.

Crews descended into the site to asses the patient's injuries and used Tower Ladder 619 to lift him in a stokes basket out of the basement to a medic unit, officials said.

The patient was transported to Stone Spring ER with non-life threatening injuries.

Hey construction workers - think you are earning great money huh? I worked in Physical Therapy for awhile and guess what - you all end up injured and in PT eventually. You all break. When you break its not just physical pain you suffer. The hardest thing for disabled laborers is that they are stripped of their ability to earn. Most end up depressed and unemployed as they struggle even in everyday tasks. Add being broke and unemployed to that and its a real bummer.

If you are in construction you will be injured and your career will end. Move quickly to management or train yourself in a non-physical field. Start today.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yea. and TWO JACKASSES standing on the edge as if it coulnt' happen again !!! wa ha ha !!!!

they aren't even standing on the edge for a reason.

if your on the razor's edge it should be a meaning for it. otherwise your a fool

---------------------
i've had a car nearly fall on me from 6ft above more than once. but i was inspecting work someone else was doing on it. i'd never be playing under a car for no reason. or close calls on a roof what have you.

if you are on the edge your close enough to get dead doing it.

Hey brokeass PT guy - nobody here works in construction these days. If you want to school somebody who does then you'll need to go somewhere else and type it in Spanish.
