FCPS Running Empty Buses Morning and Evening

How much does it contribute to the FCPS carbon footprint to be running empty buses morning and afternoon for two weeks when almost no students and few teachers are attending the last weeks of school? Or are bus drivers just not showing up either?

The buses are only empty these three make up days this week, not the last two weeks. Blame the state, not fcps. FCPS asked for a waiver and the state said NO.

It's not the school's fault that some of the children are no-shows, blame squarely falls on the parents.

Why aren't students being penalized for not attending. This is fucked up.
It's about time we got back to REAL schools in Fairfax county.
I keep hearing stories of "The last week of school we just sit around doing nothing."
What's with these lazy ass FCPS teachers that are wasting our tax dollars by not teaching the last week of school. As parents we need to put a stop to these lazy ass teachers!
