An employee at AVS Heating and Cooling, 231 Mill St., N.E., told Vienna police on June 11 at 11:21 a.m. that a current employee’s ex-girlfriend had been calling the business repeatedly in an attempt to get her ex-boyfriend fired.

Vienna police telephoned the ex-girlfriend and left a message informing her of the consequences of her actions, should she continue to make such telephone calls. The employee did not wish to pursue charges, police said.
