Police search for man who exposed himself on PRTC bus

Police have some pretty good evidence in a Tuesday case of indecent exposure on a PRTC bus: the man’s mug on surveillance video.

Officers were called to a bus stop on Darbydale Avenue near Worchester Drive in Dale City about 4:25 p.m., where a 40-year-old woman reported the incident. She said she was on the bus when a man sitting near her exposed himself, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

As the victim attempted to get the bus driver’s attention, the man stood up and got off the bus at the next stop. Police checked the area, but couldn’t locate him. But they do have video of what he looks like.

The exposer was black, 30 to 35 years old, about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue or gray t-shirt, faded jeans and a black hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 703-792-6500.
