Fairfax 50+ Employment Expo, Friday, May 30

Meet dozens of job recruiters at the Fairfax 50+ Employment Expo on Friday, May 30, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax.
Attend seminars on changing careers, online job searching, continuing education, starting your own business, job training, and job interviewing.
Admission and parking are free. No registration is necessary – just drop by!
Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova and David Gamse, executive director of the Jewish Council for the Aging, will welcome participants at noon. Following this, Joyce A. Russell, vice dean of the University of Maryland’s School of Business and contributor to the Washington Post’s Capital Business, will discuss the importance of job coaching.
The event is sponsored by the Jewish Council for the Aging, Fairfax County and community partners.

I think what they need more than seminars is an actual job fair. Bring the companies hiring and maybe it'll be of use.

Now Hiring, your post made me LOL! I am 50 and it seems like just yesterday I was 25. Life is short and believe me it goes by fast! You'll be 50 before you blink an eye. Go easier on us older folks; you can learn a lot from us. I'm looking forward to seeing what this Employment Expo has to offer for us 50+. I have learned over the years to never close the door on possible opportunities. God answers prayers when you ask for his help and then take advantage of opportunities that are available; you never know who you might meet or what may happen....
