Five charged in prostitution bust

Officers from the Prince William police department’s street crime units wrapped up a prostitution investigation Wednesday and charged five people with related crimes.
Police executed a search warrant in the 2600 block of Prince William Parkway Wednesday and seized an undisclosed amount of money and “items consistent with prostitution,” Prince William police spokeswoman Ericca Figueroa said in a news release.
Police also conducted a traffic stop in the same area and seized ecstasy and marijuana, Figueroa said.
Police charged two women, Brittany Nell Clark, 23, of no fixed address, and Tanesha Lacole Epps, 27, of Pittsburg, Calif., with prostitution and maintaining a bawdy place.
Jamal Isaac Roane, 35, of Lord Culpeper Court in Woodbridge, was charged with maintaining a bawdy place, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I or II narcotic.
Information about the bond status of Clark, Epps and Roane was not available Tuesday.
Two other men, Gary Wayne Harris, 54, of Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge, and Marvin Sanchez, 33, of Morgan Court in Dumfries, were charged with solicitation of prostitution and were released on summonses to appear in court.
Brittany Nell Clark, 23, of no fixed address, is charged with prostitution and maintaining a bawdy place. Next, Tanesha Lacole Epps, 27, of Pittsburg, Calif., is charged with prostitution and maintaining a bawdy place. Finally, Jamal Isaac Roane, 35, of Woodbridge, is charged with maintaining a bawdy place, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I or II narcotic.
