Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
i know 1 person that went there and was happy. i always see cars there. otherwise, no, i have not done business with them. they've been there for at least 3 years, so i would suspect they are doing good.
I've had them tint windows for my vehicles for nearly 5+ years and I love them. The guy that runs the place is fat, it looks like a shithole from the street, but they do the best quality work.
Have you guys heard about that new nanofiber window tint? There's some sort of clear microscopic weave in it, and a little controller thingy inside your car. You make the tint dark, or leave it clear, or make it change color like those fiber optic things you see in Spencers.

I especially love the little beater cars with spoilers, clear lenses on the brake lights, $1,000 rims, racing tach and other gauges and the loud muffler tip and every other aftermarket piece of crap they can bolt onto the car.
Yet with all the noise the damn car makes, mopeds can out-run them.

I don't know if you're just making that up, or not. But the Maybach has a really cool sunroof. It goes from opaque to clear with the flick of a switch. Too bad they cost $350,000.

That place in centreville is No good... All the good employees left the guy with the dickrings in his ear scratched my car and claimed hes not to blame.. A GOOD place to go is in chantilly. The TINT shop...they are new so the give good deals. The Job was awesome they did on my new car an 08 GT mustang, the guy looks young but he does damn good work....made it look factory and only $160 ...Express tint wanted $200 and i didn't trust them
Now, look at the thoughtfulness of the comment below... the attention to details and, I don't know, complete thoughts and sentences. This guy's review is to be trusted above all others.

Did all the good employees leave the guy with the dickrings in his ear?
Did the good employees leave him with dickrings in his ear?
And who scratched the car?
Oh, all the good employees put dickrings in the guy's ear, and scratched his car.
Yeah, I trust this review. Once I figure out what it says.
I had a couple cars done there before no problems, so when i took my Infiniti g 35 there was only 1 guy the guy who says hes the owner, some guy with huge Rings in his ears, Last time it was 2 younger guys..but he said they left...but i didn't think much of it so he Tinted my car as i sat and watched. When he finished i took it home and washed it. It had scrathes....DEEP cuts in the glass in the back small windows. I noticed before how he would cut out the shape of the window in the tint.. So i took it back to show him...BUT he said they were already there. and told me his not responsible...this was in 06... how would a year old car have a scratch that deep. But you can go there if you'd like..i'll take my car to a professional. I took my chance with Installer Ted Britt ford Recommended...and im GLAD I DID :)
Personally, I wish they would do away with tinted windows all together - other than a partial tint of the front windshield.
I have had so many close calls backing out of a parking lot space because I couldn't see through the tinted windows of the vehicle beside me to know if any moving vehicles were in the area.
I'm giving serious consideration to installing those FedEX and UPS roof mounted mirrors. Anyone know where I can buy some?

I caught it: The employees got some good dick in the owner's car, so good that their ears rang, the owner got scratched.

I have went to express tint for many years and all of my cars turned out great. I just got my suv done there last week it looks so good the did a great job!! o and by the way that fat douce bag that worked there before has moved to chantilly DO NOT GO THERE THEY ARE VERY SHADY
man mustang steve must be on somethiing if he thinks the chop shop oops i mean the tint shop is a good place to go i went there with my brand new acura and after the dealer had to put brand new glass and replace two of my door panels that was damaged by the hack shop i should have left after the vibe i got from the shady big guy there but against my better judgement i wanted to save a few bucks that was a mistake because not only did they damage my car they refused to fix it so i took it to the place in centrevilee where the dealer told me to go in the first place and not was the job they did perfect but they realyy run a professional shop i would refer them to anybody and they will be doing all of my cars in the future no matter how much they charge. the girl that runs the counter was so polite and the job was done fast and with no problems. i would listen to repuative referrals in the future and you should do the same as a wise consumer
