"A whole new Friendly's" ... " "Decades later, we lost our way"

I got a flyer in Tge mailbox today from the Friendly's restaurant. It says that Friendly's was created to be a friendly place but "decades later, we lost our way".

The flyer says that they have improved flavors and ingridents. They have "added over 20 new craveable menu choices.

The flyer promises a "better expieranc" , "from a warm Friendly's welcome to prompt, attentive services to cleaner, brighter restuarants".

Do you think this is true? Could Friendly's get any better than it already is?

Some of the new menu items are:
salmon, Philly steak & cheese, fish tacos, new England fish 'n' chips, turkey tip avocado salad, meat loaf, Mac & Cheese, bacon cheeseburger, country chicken tenders, honey BBQ chicken supermelt, and toasted marshmallow peanut butter supreme ice cream.

The flyer also has some coupons that hyou can cut out and redeem at the restaurant. The coupons have dashed marks for the ecocide to glide along.

I just wonder how can you make such a great restaurant even greater?

Hmm. Not a fan of this campaign because it makes Friendly's sound like a failing restaurant "we've lost our way"...please, please don't give up on us..

Are they doing that badly? I don't go there that often now that the kids are older.

They need someone in their PR department to focus on grammar first.

Yeah, the first thing I thought was this was written by a five year old.

Those 2 quotes are seperate and not right next to each other. So they are technicaly gramiticaly accurate.

They have a nifty website: http://www.friendlys.com/
You can order the food online

Friendly's didn't need a menu change. Their menu and deserts were perfectly great for a family drive-inn restaurant.

Their problem was physical. No, not an interior makeover. They just needed to clean and repair their interiors. Keep them old-fashioned. I don't care. But keep them sparkling and clean.

Every Friendly's I've ever visited - except for the old Breezewood one - was shabby. Depressingly shabby.

Eating off of scratched, old plates and drinking malts out of old, scratchy plastic glasses is depressing.
