Police this week released new surveillance photos in their search for the man who robbed the Carter Bank and Trust in Nokesville on March 6.
The man walked in to the bank at 12912 Fitzwater Drive at 11:18 a.m., approached the counter and passed a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
The robber fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as white, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds, with a thin build and a reddish mustache.
Police originally reported he was wearing a sweatshirt with “South Park” written on the back, but now say it was a gray hooded sweatshirt with the clothing brand “Southpole” embroidered on the back.
Police on Tuesday said the robber fled in an older model, two-door, Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.
