Sure, all you need is a time machine to transport you back to 1955.

There's one in College Park but it's not longer a Little Tavern. The building is the same but it's something else now. There is a Little Tavern still operating in Laurel but it's not advisable to dine there.

I usually go to Little Tavern after a long day of shopping at Best, Hechingers, Zares, etc.

I 'll get a Bag O' Burgers to go, and usually (hopefully) be home in time to watch Magnum P.I.

And when I wanted fancier cuisine, I went to Ollie's Trolley!

it's Zaire, and if you wanted to be serious, you would shop at "Bradlee's"

You mean the old (low brow) department store? That was ZAYRE.

Though Zayre's is long, the company lives on as BJ's Wholesale Club.

Speaking of defunct department stores...how about E J Korvette's (good record dept)....or S. Klein (on the Square)

EJ Korvette's had a great record (LP) department.

but if we are invoking the names of the old department stores...Kann's in Arlington was the best...I went to Law School there!!!
