Police are searching for a Triangle man wanted for returning, and stealing, items he didn’t pay for at the Woodbridge Home Depot.
Zachary Scott Kedzierski, 39, is wanted on charges of grand larceny and larceny by false pretenses, police said.
On Dec. 2, at 3:48 p.m., police allege Kedzierski went in the store, selected a $999 generator from the shelf and attempted to obtain store credit at the returns counter.
When denied, the man left the store with the generator.
Police also discovered that on Nov. 29, the same man was able to successfully obtain store credit of $560 by returning a saw he had not paid for.
“Local databases and security footage in both incidents were used to identify the man as the accused,” Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
Police obtained warrants for Kedzierski but have been unable to locate him.
