22-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Strong-Arm Robbery

A 22-year-old Springfield man was arrested and held without bond in connection with a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Feb. 18.
According to police, a 65-year-old Falls Church man was attempting to make a transaction at an ATM in the 900 block of North Stuart Street when the suspect reached into his pocket. A struggle ensued; during the incident, the victim was pushed to the ground and two wallets were taken.
Two patrons of an adjacent shop witnessed the robbery and chased the suspect on foot, police said.
During the chase, one of the witnesses was able to flag down an Arlington County officer, who joined the chase and apprehended the suspect shortly after in a parking lot in the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive.
The victim did not require medical attention, police said.

a least he has the balls to do or be caught , like he's not planning on killing to think he's getting away (likely gets caught then executed)
oh a 65 yr old man? nigger. robbing the elderly. extra penalty he's not safe to allow on the streets like that. i was going to go soft

a man who steals and denounces his act can still be a citizen of the town (ie, not be kicked out into the desert)
on must pay twice what they tried to steal (money recovered considered)
theft during the light of day is not as serious as theft during the cloak of night
need any more to go on ?
