About an inch in Springfield as well. Just measured it with my handy dandy metal ruler. If it snows like this all night, then we're definitely getting at least a foot.

Springfield near Backlick.
Looks like over 10 inches.
The wet and heavy kind.
No plow truck yet, that sucks...
Time to shovel...

The roads are fine if you have 4 wheel drive and you know how to use it. The other cars are just stuck, there are semis wrecked all over the place and the snow plows will take you down in a minute. Regular cars blocking the only trail, with drivers using toy shovels to unstuck their car.

Just went out there in my trusty truck with advanced 4 wheel traction and abs systems and they are plowing efficiently and the rain has broken up the remnants making the major highways very passable in locations I surveyed.

Its a war out there but it looks like we're winning.

BULLSHIT.

Or you're telling me that while we have LESS THAN TWO FUCKING INCHES on the ground, just 1.5 miles west of here, you have over 10 inches.

Go back to Guatemala, you moron.

I meant to add about driving out for lunch. It always amazes me that all of these people from (let's be polite) non-snow-bearing countries can make it into their service jobs on days like this without a problem.

But pampered public school employees and nova yuppies are too afraid to drive into their pampered offices. Go figure.

I just stuck a yardstick in my front yard and came up with 14.5 inches. And that's after it's been raining for an hour. I'm in West Springfield near the intersection of Hillside and Rolling.

Well take a 5-10 minute drive down the road to West Springfield and you will see a different story. The snow plow got stuck on my street. Maybe you and your Subaru can do better..

I went down to Kings Park McDonald's at 8:30am. All my favorite Mesoamericans were there ready to serve me breakfast.

BTW, my Honda CR-V beater box with dedicated, siped snow tires had no issues with the 8 inches that was still left in my street.

We have had absolutely no traffic down our street, only the plow. If I want McDonald's I can walk there but my cars aren't going anywhere right now. What neighborhood were you able to drive out of?

Did you ever stop to think that shovelling all that death-food down your gullet every day is actually part of some La Raza reconquista plot? God, you goobers are easy!

I eat fast food about once a month. Because I don't overeat and because I keep my body in reasonable condition, I can eat whatever the fuck I want, in moderation.

Don't be an envious prick because you're subsisting on the shit poor selection of food you have left in your pantry. All you had to do was plan ahead and prepare yourself by buying groceries, snow tires and a snow shovel. You dumb fuck.

Right. And this month, you chose the one morning when there were ten inches of snow on the ground.

It's a free country, sumo-dude. You can and doubt do slobber over all the excess sugar and fat that you like. No reason to let ten inches of snow stand in your way.

Thanks, but I'm still fine from dinner last night at Water & Wall. I'll go whip up a light lunch later on. You can just run out and get your usual 20 McNuggets or whatever your own unhealthy habit is.

Water & Wall... LOL. Put away the Arlington yuppie dog whistle. Shouldn't you be shuffling down to the Whole Foods right about now with the rest of the lemmings? Or are you about to run off to a flash mob snowball fight in Dupont Circle?

Yeah, I didn't see your flabby ass over there last night. Likely wolfing down three or four pre-storm Big Macs, eh, Dr. Rotundo? W&W would be well beyond the reach of your burger-and-biggie-fries budget anyway, I'm sure.

Why would anyone be doing that with this much snow on the ground? You might be, but not all of us are lard-encrusted fast-food addicts or complete idiots, you know,

First off, I am Italian, not Guatamalean.

I also live on a Cul de Sac.
I walked to the main intersection and flagged down some plows.
The first two said no, they have to stick to their route.
The third one plowed my street.

Go get 'em dude.

LOL. I just did. The other Guatemalens seem to be doing just fine and getting to work in their old model Honda and Nissan sedans. It's true you got more snow out there, but the roads are clear. No stuck plows to be seen. LOLOLOLLOOL
