From his website:

"Northern Virginia Muslim Omar Fateh is running for one of the three Fairfax County school board member-at-large seats. He announced his candidacy at the March 24, 2015 general membership meeting of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee."

Running for one of the three at-large seats. So here we are seven months later and no one has heard of Omar Fateh?

It's the beginning of getting Muslim/Sharia Law into everything that used to be America. The Muslims will eventually take over the entire planet. There is no faster growing population. It is all part of the master plan. The planet will be like it was 2000 years ago in about three generations.

Thanks for heads-up, y'all, good to go to the polls informed. But wait...what exactly do we even know about him?

And what qualifications should we be looking for in a School Board member, anyway? What sorts of backgrounds do the, uh, "better" candidates have? Not to be, you know...ignorant.

Well, I guess it's true that he probably has no qualifications, he's not White. Or a neo-Conservative.

NVM, did some research. Dude is a total slouch, after all: just another lifelong County resident and FCPS alum, a former NOVA Advisor, holder of a Master's in Public Administration (with a Specialization in Budgeting--what use is that to the School Board?).

The rest of his professional background is a joke, too, just a bunch of experience with the Board of Supervisors, a U.S. Representative, a U.S. Senator, the Federal Election Commission. Totally out of touch with FCPS students, either way--immigrant parents, five siblings who all studied in the school system. 45%er, move along.

I don't understand what all of you are on about, but he seems like a fine candidate, knows what the issues are, has lived through the FCPS system, and has learned the tools needed to deal with most forms of public administration. LOL he isn't running on the platform of being a minority, and I don't understand why all of you are blatantly resentful about that. He's better than the incumbent. And if you hold centrist values, an up and coming centrist with intimate experience is probably our best bet. I think I'm voting for him tomorrow.
