Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Great......as tolls increase thus pushing more traffic onto local streets, and then when the wheile stop opens, traffic around that area will come to a grinding halt...
I was walked into the McDonalds on Rt7 by the new Metro about 11:30 one morning this week and the entire place was packed with gentelmen who I assume would have trouble producing documents. I have never seen that many in one place and they were all Subcontracting on the Silver Line. Hard to believe it cost $6.8B using mostly illegals..

I know right! Like Clarendon... just full of lower income negros/spics.
I think they are deliberately delaying the silver line until the threat of winter weather is over. The new train cars are not here yet and the old trains probably can't go the distance. That's what I think at least.

Pretty sure service was SUPPOSED to start last December.
