* PRECIPITATION TYPE... FREEZING RAIN.
* ACCUMULATIONS... UP TO ONE-TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE FROM FREEZING RAIN.
* TIMING... FREEZING RAIN WILL BEGIN BETWEEN 7 PM AND 10 PM THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. PRECIPITATION WILL THEN CHANGE TO RAIN WEDNESDAY MORNING.
* TEMPERATURES... NEAR 30 THIS EVENING RISING INTO THE LOWER 30S LATE TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE ABOVE FREEZING BY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

No. Even if there's not any ice, we will close school anyways because the buses won't start.

In fact, I'm hereby cancelling school forever. The county school system sucks anyways. You'll learn more working the registers at McDonalds than you will at any of our buildings.

You can thank me later for the billions in savings for the county.

I don't want my little Suzie and Johnny standing out in freezing rain at the bus stop.

Now if they want to go sledding in freezing that's fine.

I can confirm that FCPS schools are currently operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow but that is subject to change later tonight once the precipitation has begun falling. At the very latest, a decision on whether or not to close schools will be made by tomorrow at 4AM. Bus stop. That's funny. You mean don't want little Mackenzie and Jackson getting cold in the walk between their parents' BMW 5 series and the school entrance. The only kids a the bus stop are Carmelita and Jose.

The home page has a script that randomly serves up different images. Just hit refresh on your browser a few times and you'll see it. Not sure what you mean about the emergency tab not showing. Maybe you need to clear your cache.

I believe the fcps deleted the announcement for some reason.

I also refreshed the browser several times and nothing changes. Neither does the emergency announcement.

If fcps announced that fpcs will be closed tomorrow, then the announcement should be appeared on their twitter as well. But I don't see an announcement on their twitter either.

in my opinion, fcps will not close tomorrow because we have taken off too many days in the past few weeks. It's just my opinion. Please don't judge me.
