Should FCPS Close Schools for January and February?

Considering how cold is and the fact that we don't won't are kids outside when it's below freezing. Should FCPS just cancel schools for January and February? Kids can then go in July and August.

No FCPS classes. Ever. Just give every 18 year old a "diploma" and still charge the taxpayers $$$$.

Results would be the same as they are now...

Turn all the schools into homeless shelters because all these stay at home pussies are going to need somewhere to live when mom and dad finally kick them out.

That's already going for a select group of misfits on my friend.

How are the kids to blame for school being closed? My oldest is distraught over the closing because she has service hours due, and midterms coming up. The kids are not pussies because the adults in control decide to cancel. Also, for those saying giving everyone a diploma achieves the same result.... Do some research, FCPS is one of the best school systems in the country, and graduates students to amazing colleges. It's the reason I moved my family here instead of further into VA where homes are cheaper.

I love how grown adults are sitting here and calling children pussies and blaming this on them. It wasn't their choice that this happened. Blame the school board.

We're not calling the kids pussies, we're calling the adults pussies for not having schools open for kids to attend.
