Schould FCPS stay open but liberal leave for studnets?

Over the past few years FCPS has closed because of dubious weather/ non weather related reasons. I have been a resident of Fairfax for the past 30 years and have met many people who live in the county who are low incmoe they cant afford daycare and are considered by teachers as these kids babysitters. When the school is closed what happens to these kids? I feel the school should stay open to provide for citizens who have to work on school closings? My solution school will be conducted somewhat like the last school day of the year

And how will these kids safety on buses, sidewalks etc be any different than other students?

We already get 63 workdays and all the weekend days off every year. Sometimes all this downtime depresses me.
