I've heard the conversations before comparing DC to NYC....

There is really no comparison. NYC is so much more densely populated, the buildings are so much older and so much higher, the blocks are so much shorter, etc. You cannot make a good compare between DC and NYC, if you try to compare NoVa it is even more retarded.
Maybe Tysons is like White Plains and maybe Flushing has a lot of Koreans like Annandale but it's really not similar. At all.
