I saw their spring production of WestSide Story and was amazed by the talent and impressed with the school and the theatre. I had no idea it had such a bad reputation. The kids in the show were impressive and obviously put a lot of time and heart into the production. Not all is bad at Westfield. Excellent drama department, IMO. And the orchestra too. Lots of talented students that will no doubt continue to find joy in the arts for a lifetime.

Okay maybe you're right. Not 50% but I would say at least a third or more smoke weed most days, and by the time you're a senior almost everybody drinks. And its not that I know very many of these coke/dope users personally but the thing is I know of them. They exist at every school and people make it seem like that shit only goes on at Westfield because they are the ones who got caught. There are a lot more drug users out there than most people think, because people keep it on the DL. And also, let me rephrase what I said earlier about being a heavy drug user, I meant to say that I used to be, back in high school. These days I have a few beers on the weekends and take the occasional toke. People think that once somebody uses hard drugs they are stuck for life. I got out of the drug scene just fine and so do many others. Not every person who uses drugs is the type of person you find on the streets or you see on the show Intervention. They're just regular people like you and me.
