how are teams like New Orleans, St Louis, Tennessee, going to be exceedingly difficult games? our bye-week is also in a much more strategical spot than last season (week 3).

I overlooked the Saints by accident. Even with Drew Brees, they will probably suck this year. You are right.

However, St. Louis is still a decent team, especially playing at home. They won't be a pushover. Hard to tell with the Titans. Don't know if McNair is done or if they still have a good season in them. This is undoubtedly a make or break season for the coach, so the pressure will be on to perform. I don't think they are total crap like the Cardinals or the 49ers, so it is hard to tell.

MrDoctor-

Can't really argue with your logic, though I think Tampa and Carolina will be tougher opponents this year than last. Who can say what is up with the Eagles. Same goes for the Falcons. They may be great, or it could be Vick's last season as a starter.

In the end there is only one factor that will determine the outcome for the Redskins and his name is Mark Brunell. If the guy doesn't get hurt, they could go 13-3. If he does, I'm not too sure if Jason Campbell or the other 35=year-old dude they have in back-up (basically Brunell with a fraction of the experience) can make it happen. I'm a Brunell fan, but he's just getting too f-ing old to get injured and still play well.

Washington Redskins

Sept. 11 Minnesota, 7 p.m. W
The Vikings are falling apart. They have a new coach, so I'm not expecting much from them this year. Get to the life rafts. Haha, I said life rafts. And they had the boat party last year.

Sept. 17 at Dallas, 8:15 p.m. L
We beat Dallas in Dallas last year on a stroke of luck. I'm not going to count on that again this year.

Sept. 24 at Houston, 1 p.m. W
Unless they get an offensive line made up of extremely agile sumo wrestlers, receivers who can actually catch, and a defense that actually defends, I don't see the Texans even scoring a field goal in this one.

Oct. 1 Jacksonville, 4:15 p.m. W
Byron Leftwich, though good, is going to need a solid supporting cast to do well here, and I'm not sure about their running game.

Oct. 8 at New York Giants, 1 p.m. L
They trounced us in New York last year. They won't slaughter us again, but I do think the Giants are going to take this one.

Oct. 15 Tennessee, 1 p.m. W
Steve McNair is looking like porcelain. He's constantly hurt, he's old, and who the hell is he supposed to throw to?

Oct. 22 at Indianapolis, 4:15 p.m. L
The Colts have stayed pretty much intact this offseason, so I anticipate another solid run from them.

----- Oct. 29 BYE -----

Nov. 5 Dallas, 1 p.m. W
Since this one's at home, the crowd is going to be going apeshit throughout this game. Expect Gravis to get to this game and broadcast shitty music on the same frequency used in Drew Bledsoe's helmet communicator.

Nov. 12 at Philadelphia, 1 p.m. W
Who knows if McNabb is going to come back and do as well as he has in the past, after his hernia? He played through it, so I think he probably made it worse.

Nov. 19 at Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. W
This won't come down to last season's shitty call. The Redskins will take this one.

Nov. 26 Carolina, 1 p.m. L
Carolina's defense has been looking solid over the past year or two, and as long as they stay healthy, our running game will be stopped cold. I don't know about their secondary, but I also don't know what to expect from Brandon Lloyd and Antwaan Randle El.

Dec. 3 Atlanta, 1 p.m. W
A.T.L. was a shitty movie. Atlanta will produce a shitty team this year. Does anything from Atlanta not suck?

Dec. 10 Philadelphia, 1 p.m. W
See Nov. 12

Dec. 17 at New Orleans, 1 p.m. W
Where are the Saints playing this year? Ex-Miami Hurricanes Sean Taylor and Clinton Portis will do well here.

Dec. 24 at St. Louis, 1 p.m. L
St. Louis doesn't have a very good team this year - they haven't in a while - but this is just going to be one of those freak losses.

Dec. 30 New York Giants, 8 p.m. W
If our defense can stop Tiki Barber, we're in good shape.

Record: (11-5)

Dallas is going to be tough to figure this year. With T-O out there and Dallas's O-Line's main objective of stopping the pass rush and allowing Bledsoe time to fire deep strikes, the Redskins' could get screwed.

The first win last year against Dallas came down to two fluky deep passes downfield and a couple of good sprints from Brunell. The second one happened because Arrington was in and the Redskins actually pressured Bledsoe. Can the Redskins pressure Bledsoe with the talent they have now? I don't know. But they don't have the speed or depth at CB to double team TO on every play.

sooo..... signing Andre Carter as a pass rush specialist (which he did very well in san francisco) won't help pressure Bledsoe THIS season?

granted with TO, they have significantly upgraded their deep threat, but Sean Taylor is going to be dealing with him a lot more than Rogers, Springs, Wright will have to, which is a good thing.

the cowboys are in a weird spot because they have a team that is pretty young or pretty old. our team consists of mainly younger dudes who are still in their prime.

your argument over our wins being unconvincing is bullshit.

arrington didn't have one single tackle in that game, unless nfl.com is lying. furthermore, arrington didn't really make or break our defense this past season at all. the 49ers game he kind of blew up, but if you can't see that our defense is now about Greg Williams and NOT #56, then you probably haven't been watching the same Redskins that i have.

Haha you people picking 13-3 and 12-4 are on some good fucking drugs. Typical Redskin Homers and jock sniffers.

8-8 would be an exceptional year for this pathetic team. You can count on RGMe getting knocked out of at least 4 games, maybe out for the year depending on when it happens. The defense will deliver a loss in at least 4 games, special teams will be responsible for 1 or 2. The coach will screw up a couple games as well.

6-10
