Great dorms, nice new buildings.

People were very friendly, seemed more conservative than a typical Virginia school. No edge at all. Felt almost like a big high school.

Not much to do in the immediate area, though proximity to the beach is probably nice in the Spring.

Thought it was probably best for education majors. No sense that school had much of an alumni network that would help students with jobs.

Tour Guided pretty much nailed it...I enjoyed the small class sizes too. The professors knew when you weren't in class and you couldn't hide behind 200 other students. With class sizes around 30-35, you'll have great access to professors outside of class.

Other than education, they have a great environmental science program and the Luter School of Business.

Again...NEW BUILDINGS! You will be spoiled like crazy with how nice the campus is.

CN...WHO?

LOL!

Anyway most Unis in VA have new buildings...VCU has basically doubled in size over te last 15 years...Mary Wash is going through a buildng boom...both are better schools that had campus 25 years ago and have alumni networks....

If you can afford it - Northern Virginia students, at all academic levels, are always able to go to a higher ranked (and I'd say better) college out-of-state.

-considering the hoops you have to jump thru in this area to go to even a mediocre college.
