If the Redskins had zero wins and forty-two consecutive losses would you support the team, the owner, the coach, and players or would you call them a bunch of losers?
That is what the House Republicans have in terms of their votes on ObamaCare. 42 straight losses.
Now those losers want to shut down the Government of the United States.
Republican loser-ness goes back much, much further than that. They and their fellow travelers of whatever name have been and still are wrong about just about everything in the history of the republic. Anti-federalist, pro-South, Jim Crow, corporatist, nativist, fundie-loving, women- and gay-haters. What's not to like about THAT sort of agenda? How about everything. Nothing useful at all has ever come from the right-wing. Unless you thought stuff like the Great Depression, the Red Scare, Watergate, Iran/Contra, Read-My-Lips, and the Great Recession were good things, of course, Braindead Bigotry and Bad Economics. That should be the motto of the Republican Party. It's all they ever come up with.
Meanwhile, we just had a referendum on health care reform between the guy who wanted to keep it and the guy who wanted to get rid of it. The guy who wanted to get rid of it got his sorry ass handed to him. This was like almost eleven months ago.

DC-area sports fans are pretty dopey overall. They'd probably still be talking about Super Bowl potential, even with 42 straight losses. :-)

Wow, this thread went entirely over your head. Typical dumbass teabagging GOPtard.
OP, you have a lot of facts wrong, including the fact that Jim Crow, pro-South Eric was all Democrats. You can't whitewash your own history just because you don't like it.

I know. The Redskins won't go 0 - 42. They won yesterday, so the worst they can do is 1 - 41. Of course, Dan Synder is a really bad owner, so I hope they don't win for a long time, just like you do.

Too funny when they eat their own. Wonder if Kilton will reconsider his politics now that he sees the blind hatred from his side. LoLz
I thought the Skins looked good in the 2nd half yesterday. London Fletcher can't tackle with a damn anymore tho. They need to start phasing him out. How many times did he fail to wrap up the running back and the guy got another 10 yards. Too many, that fer sure!
If you look at the Skins upcoming schedule, they're probably going to go into December 3- 8 or 2 - 9. They might beat Dallas and/or Shitcago, but they aren't going to beat anyone else before they get the hapless Jints.
If they want to win, they gotta put in Cousins. And even then, with their craptastic defense, they'll be hard pressed to win.
Hey, the defense looked just as bad last year and they won the division. The problem is the offense. If they continue to go 3-and-out and lose the time-of-possession battle by 14 minutes in the first half of every game the defense is bound to get tired. If RGIII snaps out of it, I imagine we'll see marked improvement as the year progresses. If not... well... Go Caps.
The Redskins suck. I really wish I could stop being a fan.
Oh, and anyone who thinks of our government in seperatist terms like "Republican" or "Democrat" has a serious mental retardation.
Do you honestly feel that your party of choice is the only one fighting for good while the other party is trying to destroy the country, or any variation of?
The House, The Senate, The executive branch, Democrats, Republicans, Independants, etc...these are the most corrupt, power-drunk and selfish people on the planet. None of these people have YOUR best interests in mind, so the fact that you'll build up your party and put them in a pedestal while they tax you to lace their pockets makes you a very stupid person.
Oh. If the G shuts down the House/Senate/Etc will continue to be paid. The military will receive IOU's while shut down.

RG3 is playing scared. You can see it when he gets pressured. He doesn't take off like last year. He gets happy feet and then gingerly jogs until someone pushes him down. Without the threat that he'll take off and burn them for 20 yards, the other team just takes away Morris and let's RG3 implode.
There's room for improvement. They looked alright at times (not Super Bowl good), but there is a long way to go. I have been a lifelong Redskins fan and get very cynical at times, but I really wish them well.

Pretty much, yeah. But I also believe part of the problem is he's thinking too much. Last year he seemed to be operating purely on instinct. Now he seems to be thinking in the middle of the play about stupid stuff like "how am I going to slide?" The guy didn't have an off-season or a pre-season, and barely had much of a training camp. Give it a couple more games, he could come around.

You can't afford to lose 4 or 5 games in the first half of the season and expect to get anywhere. I know sticking with Cousins would have been problematic. If Cousins was winning, then how do you pull him and stick in RG3 if the Skins were, say, 5-1? But you're writing off the season to use the first 5 games as the preseason for RG3. These games matter.

Yeah, but what's the option? I mean, RG3 would have to start eventually, right? He's going to have his "pre-season" games at some point in the season; so what's the difference whether it's the first 5 games of the season or the last 5 games of the season. This is just a unfortunate reality of having a QB that had to rehab after a serious injury: reaclimating to the game. It's gotta happen sometime. Might as well be now.

Quite the contrary, slappy -- this thread is about the Redskins. See the last handful of posts. Politics isn't anywhere near as interesting as the Redskins' sucktitude. I guess that fact went over your head. :-)

While you are enjoying the company of other morons who don't understand the thread, please point out where I indicated politics isn't anywhere as interesting as the Redskins' sucktitude.

Except the Redskins can only pay players with what money they have. The Redskins do not print up more money with which to pay players. But you do have one analogy right the Redskins are lead by an idiot just like the country is now by obama.

Hey -- I said that, not you.
You okay over there, butterbean? I know 1-3 is tough to handle, but you seem to be taking it particularly hard. When anger over a dopey sports team prevents you from even being able to read an English sentence, it might be time to take a breath and calm down a little. :-)

You indicated that fact went over my head, nancy boy. Now point out anywhere in my previous statements that indicates as much. You can't.
As for the Redskins, I could give a shit. The team I grew up rooting for is crappy, but I am aware of their crappiness and don't let it get to me. As for Redskins obsessiveness, I'll let the number of posts you've made on the subject speak for itself.
