well i just ran accross this but it seems that the high-tech and "secure" new building Innovation Hall has been robbed, for the third time. the first time this building, which is electronically locked (and all rooms) at night was robbed. the discovered the electronic keycard activated locks had been shorted and thus automatically opened. does anyone else think of all the evil villians that are foiled by their "short it and it unlocks" locks? i mean, this happened on star trek all the time. :)   so the first time they were caught with their pants down and declared "must have been an inside job." having worked for GMU, working in the tech field and have keycard access to that building i was well informed about the hush-hush robbery. i think they fixed that issue, maybe not, but they stepped up security and put in a gaurd in their 24 hours a day. the first time they yanked a ton of bitchin' new PCs... the building was brand new and the PCs too. the second time was even more hush-hush and a bunch of flatscreen monitors were lifted. after that they secured the monitors so they couldnt be lifted. now i've been away from that job for some time but it would seem our favorite building has been robbed again. it's not so hush-hush because it seems they have video tape of the robbers. a second or two of the video are hilarious because of how one of them appears on the video. check it out. hay wait, i recognize where they are in that photo! they are on the fourth floor right outside the elevators. you can see where the two elevators are, just to the right of those two big wooden doors. that is right by the "IRC" (Instructional Resource Center... aka "I'm a retarded fucking teacher who cant use a computer" place). those fools broke the computers all the time because theyy demanded to have administrator access. where they walked to has nothing but a desk and a cubical. i guess they went to disconnect the camera or something. when i was there last, the camera was not there. i guess they should have grabbed the tape that i think is on the second level where the whole building security and "Magic Troble Ticket System" (IE only POS system!) admins are. they also are the ones that program the door locks. what? did i leak too much security info? no? well from the west entrance, it's the first hall on the right, second door.

what? i didnt sign an NDA. :)
