McLean Post Office

What is wrong with the McLean Post Office? I didn't get my mail until 9 p.m.!!!!

Any time I have issues with my local postal service I always get the answers I deserve on FFX U.

a couple of years ago, my mail was lost/late all the time...
I went to the post office and found the manager of the post office. I compalined
verbally and then filled out a complaint form. Apparently I was not the only
one on my street to do so, because the mailman got fired from the post office
three weeks later.

I'm just saying...

Late mail is often a function of not enough carriers to cover all the routes.

Late mail is also a function of being a fact of life sometimes. Not sure how complaining here is supposed to make it to the postmaster for that office but I guess anything is possible.

My route in Vienna, mail often comes long after dark. We feel lucky if we get mail by 5:00. There have been days when it was never delivered. Why can't they hire more mail carriers?

McLean post office must be poorly managed, or not managed at all.

I've had things that I knew were supposed to be delivered never arrive, and magazines that always arrive on the same day show up two or three days later.

I'm also not sure how or why they do this, but whenever Time magazine has a supplement and the magazine and supplement are shipped in a plastic bag, I never get the supplement, just the magazine. I only knew that I was supposed to get the magazine and supplement wrapped in plastic because that's how my parents recieved the same issue. This happened twice in the last two months.

I've also received my newsweek magazine completely shredded.
