Fairfax County’s Meals on Wheels urgently needs drivers in the Franconia/Kingstowne, Lorton, Reston, and Springfield areas and coordinators in McLean. Call 703-324-5406, TTY 711. Visit www.fairfaxcounty.gov/olderadults and link to Volunteer Solutions.

Birendra Kumwar seems to be a hack writer for Patch.

But the "articles" are often nothing more than pleas from various Fairfax County offices for assistance.

Cut the crap. The County wants to waste money on artificial turf, trolley cars and bonuses for rude and incompetent employees.

If Meals on Wheels is so important, cancel some other program to pay for it.

Yes the trolley is in Arlington but Fairfax feels compelled to pay for part of it.
