MAJOR FAIRFAX COUNTY WIDE PROBLEM: AUTOMOBILE TRAFFIC.
THE BULLY AGGRESSIVE DRIVER! SPEEDING. TAILGATING. FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE. ETC., ETC. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. YET IT ALL FALLS UNDER THE SAME DESCRIPT: AGGRESSIVE, BULLY DRIVING!
THIS CAUSES MAJOR ACCIDENTS. UNNECESARY STRESS AND SERIOUS ENDANGERMENT OF OTHER SAFE DRIVERS OF AUTOMOBILES. TOO MANY SERIOUS ACCIDENTS SEEN IN LOUDON. TOO MANY DEATHS ALONG WITH SERIOUS INJURY'S AND PERMANENT DISABILITIES BEING CAUSED DIRECTLY BY THE IGNORANT BULLY AGGRESSIVE DRIVER'S IN LOUDON COUNTY! SUBSTANCE ABUSE. DRUNK DRIVING. ALL THE SAME!
WHY IS NOT THE AUTHORITIES DEMANDING MORE ACTION BY THE SHERRIFF'S OFFICE?
ALL THE NOISY, BROKEN DOWN AND 'AFTER FACTORY' EXHAUST SYSTEMS DO NOT HELP ANY DITTO! MAJOR DISTRACTION FROM SAFETY! THE OPERATING STATE OF THE AUTO'S NOT TUNED/MAINTENANCED PROPER SMELLING LIKE UNBURNT GASOLINE OR BITING OIL IS JUST REDICULOUS AND HIGHLY POLLUTING. DIZZYING, EVEN, WHEN BREATHED! SMOKING TAILPIPES. ALL THIS IS ILLEGAL AS SHIT! AND AGAIN, WHY IS NOT THE PROPER AUTHORITY SEEING THAT THESE HIGHLY NEGLIGENT AUTOMOBILE OWNER'S/DRIVERS ARE BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE! BETWEEN THE STENCH, THE NOISE, THE STRESS, THE SUBSTANCE ABUSE DRIVERS, NO WONDER THE ACCIDENTS WITH PEOPLE DYING, GETTING SERIOUSLY INJURED AND CRIPPLED FOR LIFE IN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS IS WAY UP IN LOUDON COUNTY! NOT TO MENTION, NOVA-WIDE!
AND WHAT DO WE SEE? PATROL OFFICERS SITTING AROUND IN EMPTY SHOPPING MALL PARKING LOTS DRINKING DONUTS AND EATING COFFEE? B.S.'ING THEIR WAY THRU ANOTHER SHIFT? PULL THE MENTIONED VIOLATORS COMMITTING THE ABOVE LISTED AND GIVE THEM A SLAMMING HARD LINE TRAFFIC TICKET!

Citing aggressive drivers is treating the symptom. The disease is the slownass drivers who cruise in the left lane, don't know you can turn right on red, can't operate a 4-way stop sign, etc.

I would say 90% of my aggressive driving comes from retaliating against people who are "multitasking" on their cell phones while driving. Who think they can both drive and text or sit in traffic and text or really even talk on the phone and drive, but who are in fact probably too stupid to do either.

my favorite is the van full of kids driven by a helicopter mom who's texting while driving down 286. the kind of mom who would call the national guard if you look mean at one of her delicate snowflakes, yet she's seriously endangering their lives because she wants to check facebook.
