Who or What is the Monkey Man of Fairfax?

Once in a while, I hear someone mention the "Monkey Man of Fairfax" either on here or in public. Where did this come from and who or what is the Monkey Man of Fairfax?

The monkey man legend originated in the 80's, when the old Fairfax High school building was renovated and they changed locations. During the move, several people reported seeing a massive, hairy man, that walked on all fours. Obviously these were laughed off, until the son of a teacher went missing. He came back, eventually. But not with his arm. He was raving mad, and all he could summon up was the word: Monkeyman

I did not hurt that child. he was search for the best NY style pizza in Fairfax county and lost his arm to a poorly maintained pizza cutter. He finally found the delicious pizza at Sbarro's and was driven mad by the great taste at a reasonable price.
