The neighborhood is very safe. It's the nasty garbage inside Kilroys that will kill you. If it isn't the rotting food that gets you, it'll be the stink from decades of cum, vomit, and cigarettes in the uncleaned carpet and walls that kills you.

There's plenty of handicapped seating at Kilroys for those who either stumble in or who are carried in after trying to kickstart their AMF-era Harleys.

If you're going for beers in sealed cans, I would say the place is fine.
When I used to go there (decades ago), we all knew to stick with the "Foster's Oil Cans".
I'd avoid the weekly bike-night, not because the bikers are evil, but because the place is ludicrously packed. I'd avoid the food on any night.

I stopped eating there because the food sucked. I am always fair when it comes to evaluating a restaurant but this place has an odor about it that wont go away.

It adjoins Ravensworth Farm a quiet community with very low crime (except for the Strope brothers RIP). Very safe, very boring and yes the food in Kilroys will keep you on the toilet for days so stock up on TP at the Safeway after eating there.
